Little India in ArtesiaLinda has recently been touring Little India in Artesia on behalf of the “SoCal Restaurant Show” and shared her recent discoveries.

She pointed out that because you have such a concentration of Indian restaurants in the area appealing to Indians you see a wide sampling of the various regional Indian cuisines. Competition is intense which helps motivate the proprietors to do better!

One of the better known Indian restaurants in San Francisco is Dosa with locations in the Mission and Upper Fillmore. They specialize in Dosas. Their Wine Director & Manager, Todd J. Smith, joined us (speaking from a winery in the Sonoma Valley) to talk about the specifics of pairing Indian cuisine with wine. By the way Indian cuisine and fine wine do pair well together.
