Over 50% of Puerto Vallarta’s workforce is employed in tourism-related industries including accommodations, dining establishments, tour operation, and transportation. Local residents understand the value of tourism and are highly respectful of the opportunity it represents for them and the local community. They know that a safe, happy and satisfied visitor means a return visitor.
